I have been obsessing over good candles recently, I just love the warm and comfortable feelings that they give you. Candles can be a bit expensive for what they are, but if you choose them right I think they are totally worth paying for. Those five candles in the photo are my recent favorites. They all have great scents and they are also good for home decors. From the left: Yankee Candle Pink Sands, Pier 1 Imports Golden Acorn Tealight Candle Holder, Yankee Candle Medium Pure Radiance Candles Enchanted, Urban Outfitters Paddywax Large Concrete Candle Belgamot + Mahogany, and Barn Star Candle Fresh Cut Grass.
I don’t have the link to Barn Star Candle since I couldn’t find any, but I had to include this one as I absolutely love their candles. I got this at a small shop when I went to Maine last summer, I can’t remember the name of the shop but they sold all the local goods made in Maine. This soy candle is also hand poured. I just love the packaging, the container is a little jar and with a paper label, which I think is so cute.
The urban outfitters soy candle just smells amazing. I got this as a part of my christmas present from my sister. The scent is bergamot and mahogany, it’s close to a floral scent but it makes it very fresh with a little bit of wooden smell to it. I absolutely love the look of it as well, it’s concrete so it’s a bit heavy but I just love its style.
And then theres my most heavily used candle this winter –Yankee Candle Medium Pure Radiance Candles Enchanted. First of all I am a big fan of Yankee Candle’s Pure Radiance products because I just love the subtle crackling sound they make when burning. Maybe it’s just me but I find it very soothing and relaxing. The scent is also very nice too, it’s unique and it gives out the modern image but I like how it’s not overpowering at all.
Another one of my favorite scents from Yankee Candle recently is Pink Sands. The scent does remind you of an exotic tropical island, but it’s not like a typical tropical/fruity smell. It’s very fresh and crisp with a little bit of vanilla and fruity scent in the background. I put this near my entrance door, I think it’s a great smell for greeting someone at your door because it gives out very positive vibes.
Last but not least I wanted to include this cute acorn candle holder in the list even though it’s not a candle itself. I love anything to do with acorns for some reason, I just think they’re very cute, and recently this candle holder has been my most favorite interior item.
